About the Journal
REMEVAL emerged as an initiative of the National Academy of Evaluators of Mexico (ACEVAL), to establish a space for dialogue and academic reflection on evaluation in Mexico and around the world. Since its creation, ACEVAL has become an essential platform for the exchange of knowledge, promoting the development of rigorous and relevant evaluation practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of public and private policies, programs, and initiatives.
Founded on the basis of a professional network formally established in 2014, ACEVAL seeks to respond to the growing need for tools and approaches that support informed decision-making, transform public practice, and generate social value. To contribute to this aim, as a quarterly scientific journal in digital format, REMEVAL publishes original contributions in Spanish and English related to planning, processes, methods, case studies, experiences, and reflections on the evaluation of public policies, plans, programs, projects, and interventions of various kinds.
REMEVAL is distinguished by its commitment to academic excellence and inclusion, accepting collaborations from authors of any nationality and background. All contributions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the quality and relevance of the published content.
Through REMEVAL, ACEVAL reaffirms its mission to strengthen the practice of evaluation as a pillar for generating knowledge and promoting meaningful transformations for the benefit of society.
