About the Journal

REMEVAL arises as an initiative of the National Academy of Evaluators of Mexico (ACEVAL) to consolidate a space for dialogue and academic reflection around evaluation in Mexico and the world. Since its creation, ACEVAL has become an essential platform for the exchange of knowledge, promoting the development of rigorous and relevant evaluation practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of public and private policies, programs and initiatives.

Founded based on a network of professionals formally established in 2014, ACEVAL seeks to respond to the growing need for tools and approaches that support informed decision-making, transform public affairs and generate social value. To contribute to the above, as a quarterly scientific journal in digital format, REMEVAL publishes unpublished manuscripts in Spanish and English related to processes, methods, case studies, experiences and reflections on the evaluation of public policies, plans, programs, projects and interventions of various kinds.

REMEVAL is distinguished by its commitment to academic excellence and inclusion, accepting collaborations from authors of any nationality and condition. All contributions are subjected to a rigorous arbitration process by blind peers, guaranteeing the quality and relevance of the published content.

Through REMEVAL, ACEVAL reaffirms its mission to strengthen the practice of evaluation as a pillar for the generation of knowledge and the promotion of significant transformations for the benefit of society.
