Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit to this journal. All submissions will be evaluated by an editor to determine whether they meet the journal's objectives and scope. Those deemed appropriate will be sent for peer review before deciding whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before submitting, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included in the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets. All authors listed in the submission must consent to being identified as authors. Where applicable, the research must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study’s country.

An editor may reject a submission if it does not meet minimum quality standards. Before submitting, make sure that the study design and research argument are properly structured and articulated. The title should be concise, and the abstract should stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood that reviewers will agree to review the article. Once you are sure your submission meets this standard, proceed to the checklist below to prepare your submission.

General Guidelines

  • Contributions must be submitted in Microsoft Word format, letter size (21.5 x 28 cm), with single line spacing and preferably using Arial font, size 12, or a similar typeface.
  • Margins must be set to 2.5 cm on all four sides.
  • Every paragraph must begin with an indentation of four spaces.
  • Hyphens should be used only to divide words at the right margin, not to fill empty spaces. All pages must be numbered in the upper right corner and should end with complete words; additionally, each line on every page must be numbered in the left margin.
  • The file size must not exceed 2 MB. If the file is larger, it is recommended to remove heavy images and attach them separately as supplementary files in JPG format.
  • The file must be sent through the REMEVAL Open Journal System Platform, including the names of the authors, by completing a user registration at https://remeval.org/index.php/remeval1/login

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • This submission complies with the requirements outlined in the Guidelines for Authors.
  • This contribution has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by another journal. The accuracy and integrity of all references have been verified.
  • Permission has been obtained for the publication of all photographs, datasets, and any other materials included in this submission.
  • The authors have read and are familiar with the code of ethics under which REMEVAL is governed.

Articles

REMEVAL considers for possible publication manuscripts originally written in Spanish or English on aspects related to processes, methods, case studies, experiences, and reflections on the evaluation of public policy, plans, programs, projects, initiatives, and interventions of various kinds that have not been previously published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal accepts submissions from authors regardless of nationality
